Flooring Sales Specialist
About the Role
We’re looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Flooring Sales Specialist to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a client-facing environment, enjoys design and materials, and is motivated by both service and sales. You’ll work in our beautiful Sterling showroom, helping clients find the perfect flooring solutions for their homes or businesses.

Tuesday–Saturday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM

Compensation:
$52,000 – $120,000/year (Salary + Commission)
What You’ll Do
- Greet and assist clients in the showroom, by phone, and via email
- Guide customers through flooring options based on their needs, style, and budget
- Explain features, benefits, and care instructions for various flooring types
- Measure spaces and provide accurate material estimates
- Prepare quotes and negotiate pricing and terms
- Collaborate with installers and project teams for timely delivery and installation
- Follow up with clients post-sale to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns
- Stay informed about new products, trends, and competitor offerings
- Help maintain an organized, visually appealing showroom
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of flooring sales experience (required)
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets
- Strong product knowledge: hardwood, tile, laminate, carpet, LVP, and more
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-starter with strong time management and organization skills
- Proficient in MS Office and CRM systems
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively
- Willingness to work Saturdays and occasional evenings as needed
- High School Diploma or GED required; associate’s or technical training a plus
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to travel to client homes for on-site measurements
- Must be able to stand for extended periods in the showroom
- Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs occasionally for product samples or showroom needs
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
